Gaming has been a massive part of my life since the early 80′s, growing up playing the Atari 2600, Commodore C64 and come to think about it every single system that has been released. It was only a matter of time that I would find my place working away in the gaming industry. Starting out back in 2006 my goal has been to create a gaming network, covering systems from the retro years to current.  The Console Domination Gaming Network or CDGN is just that. With a combined average of well over 20,000 + views per day the CDGN has grown much bigger then I ever thought possible. It has allowed me to expand the site out to a community of passionate gamers, placing them also in the line of fire so to speak interviewing and covering some of the biggest and major events her in Australia and overseas. 2013 will be bigger and better! If you live in the Melbourne area make sure you head out to PAX 2013 as the CDGN, Retro Domination Team will be there along with some of our international partners.

Favorite Consoles and Games : SNES, Sega Naster System, Mega CD, Saturn, Dreamcast, Commodore 64. Street Fighter Series, Killer Instinct, Sam & Max, Full Throttle, Kings Quest, Gears of War Series, The list goes on and on.

A retro gamer at heart, Tim was a child of the 80′s, where bad jeans, mullets and cheesy pop music prevailed. But most importantly, it was the true beginning of console gaming.

A time when Atari was king, and Sega and Nintendo would start its rivalry and Video Game arcades were everywhere.

His first introduction to games , was playing arcade machines at the local pub, perched upon a bar stool just to reach the controls, as his father looked nervously on, wondering how many more 20c coins he’d have to give out…

My first love for gaming came along at the ripe age of 4years old when my parents bought a Atari 2600 Vader Model.
Spent my preteens playing the Commodore 64, Amiga 500 and the Sega Master System.

The Megadrive was my first game console and fell in love with it straight away and was in awe with how much of a improvement it was over the Sega master system. My gaming exsperience spans over 28 years.

My journey with gaming began when I inherited my brother’s ‘Sheen’ console (a B&W console that played 5 versions of Pong). Of course, had absolutely no idea what I was doing but the seed was planted! When I turned seven, I was given an Atari 2600 (Vader model) with several games as a birthday present and I was in love! I also managed to con my parents into purchasing me a Commodore 64 to use “for school”, and to this day it has provided me with some of my most favourite gaming experiences!

As I grew older, the local arcades became my favourite place to pass the time and I spent many a 20 cent coin on some of my favourite games such as Double Dragon, Final Fight and Street Fighter II. When Capcom announced that it would be bringing port of Street Fighter 2 to the Super NES, I quickly started saving my lunch money and my obsession with console gaming would begin and still continues to this day!

Favourite Systems: Super NES, Commodore 64, Playstation, Dreamcast.

Favourite Games: Street Fighter series, Shinobi, Double Dragon, Final Fight, World of Warcraft.
